LR Salvato AG — Gebrauchtwagen Balsthal, Solothurn

LR Salvato AG

Industriezone Klus 10, 4710 Balsthal, Switzerland (also listed as Autohaus Leuzigen)

LR Salvato AG is an independent used car dealer in Balsthal, Solothurn. The business currently holds a 2.8-star rating from 37 Google reviews (October 2026).

A minority of customers report positive experiences: some praise responsive WhatsApp communication, quick replies to enquiries, and friendly individual dealings with the seller. A buyer in August 2026 described a professional and helpful team.

However, the majority of reviews raise recurring concerns. Multiple buyers report that vehicles on-site differ significantly from their advertised condition — several describe the lot as resembling a storage yard for heavily damaged or non-roadworthy cars. Reviewers mention misleading vehicle histories (falsely claimed Swiss origin, accident-free status, and service records), and at least one case involves a deposit being accepted for a vehicle that was subsequently sold to another buyer. Some buyers also report long waits and staff with limited knowledge of the vehicles on display.

Before any purchase, an independent pre-purchase technical inspection (PPI/MFK equivalent) is strongly recommended. Verify vehicle history and origin documentation before paying any deposit.
